Ancient and Selfmanifested Lord Narsimha

• Brief History:-
• Narsimha idol found by king Bhimdev of Kundinyapur and was later installed by him in A.D.178.
• "Yadusheth" the 6th predator of saint Namdev came from his original place 'Rile' & lived here for worshipping god upto his 4-5 generations & left the place before birth of saint Namdev in A.D.1124.
• Temple(shrine) built up by Hemadri Pant by order of Ramdevray Yadav Devgiri A.D. 1273.
• About this place mentioned in shree gurucharitra in 15th adhyaya .
• Samartha Ramdas swami visited this place in A.D. 1662 & did prayer over here.
• Land was gifted by Badshaha Adilshaha for lord narsimha temple in A.D.1726.
• "Darshana" of selfmanifested idol of lord was given to sage Parasher, father of Vedvyas before Mahabharat period in A.D.5561.

*Additional Information:- At the same time idols of godess Koljai at kolegaon,Keshavraj at Tambve, Shree Pimplaidevi at Rethare,was found in deep water of krishna river and later all was installed.

Lord Narsimhas Original place is Mul-sthan (Multan ) in pakistan. In india ancient and self manifested Narsimha place is at Kole Narsimhapur on the bank of holy river Krishna in Maharashtra ,India.

Surrounding:- There are wide  network of  ranges of mountains and subdivisions out of which  " shambhuMahadev"  is one of them .' Mhasobacha  dongar ' is the mountain originated from  central line of  shambhumahadev .
Machhindragad  fort  present  besides it. as far from the Machhindragad Krishna river  flows like a a half round  circle and tremendous 12 miles long  dam formed .
On eastern bank ,at the center of that circle  holy place  Narsimhapur (Narsingpur) village  lived since 1500 yrs.
Holy river Krishna  moves towards South direction , on the  southern part of village  shiv ling was installed by  Lord Rama so called Ramlinga; To avoid interruptions from Krishna water , in meditation  of lord Rama , Hanuman restricted the water with his arms (bahu);and krishna  river bifurcates here., the same concept was considered by Ramdas Swami & he installed idol of Hanuman, so called Bahe Maruti.

Here is also  a shrines of  holisages, shrine of Markandeya on pavangad , shrine of Muchhkunda  on vishalgad, shrine of Parasher on Panhalgad.

Keshavraj was found  with idol narsimha and was installed  at the west bank of rivrer  at Tambve  dist. sangli.; while idiol of godess Koljai  placed  on  north bank  of Krishnariver  at village Kole Gram . ,On the other hand Pimplai devi  idol was placed  at Rethre budrug. all   deities are worshipped  as a 'Gramdaivata '.
